Gojushiho-Dai

      Gojushiho-Dai means 54 (fifty-four) steps (now 62 movement). kata Shorin was inspired by a bird strike the enemy with the sharpness of his beak. The old name is Useshi. kata is native to China and studied in China until the 20th century. Masatoshi Nakayama also learn kata Gojushiho-Dai when she learned Nijushiho with Mabuni.
