Nijushiho
Nijushiho means 24 (twenty four) steps (it now has 30 movement, but the movement of the original is 24 feet). The meaning of this kata is a natural picture of the flow of water or waves (sometimes slow movement with all its grandeur, sometimes strong and fast). This kata is kata Shorin (although there are claims as kata Shorei). This kata is a favorite instructor kata Frank Woon-A-Tai. In 1934 Master Funakoshi Gichin Masatoshi Nakayama ordered to study this kata from Master Shito-Ryu, Kenwa Mabuni. This kata is gradually adjusted to Shotokan techniques.
